The University Archives is the official repository of UNCP publications and records relating to the history of the university. In addition, the University Archives strives to document the full experience of UNCP students, employees, and alumni through collections both official and unofficial. The digital collections located within University Archives represent materials created by faculty, staff, and students of or about the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. In these collections are letters, correspondence, photographs, and more that add significance to the history of the university.
Access the Adolph Dial Collection, digitized copies of UNCP yearbooks since 1942, all past college course catalogs, and several issues of the Pine Needle, the university's student newspaper below. New collections will be digitized as they become available.

University Archives items do not fall under the same guidelines listed for Special Collections and are subject only to the most recent edition of the University of North Carolina System Records Retention and Disposition Schedule. Public records, including electronic records, not listed on this schedule are not authorized to be destroyed or deaccessioned in accordance with N.C. Gen. Stat. § 121-5 authorizes DNCR to regulate the destruction of public records, codified in the North Carolina Administrative Code, Title 7, Chapter 4, Subchapter M, Section .0510.
