National Institute of Mental Health

SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Adminstration)

• The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is the agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that leads public health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation. SAMHSA's mission is to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on America's communities.

Mental Health (CDC)

• CDC takes a public health approach to mental health. • This organization focuses on providing mental health services to children, youths, adults, families and other organizations.

American Psychological Association (APA) 

• This organization is the largest scientific and professional organization representing psychology in the US and provides free access to its archives of magazines and current article in the field of psychology.

Eastern Psychological Association (EPA) 

• This is the oldest regional psychology association in the US and focuses on advancing the science and profession by providing professional information of the field.

National Association of School Psychologists (NASP)
