Citations and Style Guides

There are many ways for citations to be written and there are strict rules that explain how these citations should look. These sets of rules are called styles and can be found in books, flyers, or websites called style guides. MLA, APA, and Chicago are examples of different styles. Style Guides not only contain rules for how reference citation should be written, but they also contain rules for how your paper should be formatted, how in-text citations should look, and how papers should be submitted for publication.
