Getting Started



Welcome to the Mary Livermore Library!

Libraries may seem big and imposing, but come into your library and let our friendly faculty and staff assist you with finding materials for research papers and presentations, recreational reading, and DVD's. The Library is your place to study. We offer small study rooms,group study rooms (3 or more students), and quiet study areas. You can bring your laptop and log-in into the University's wireless network or checkout a laptop from the Circulation Desk.

This guide will be provide you with basic information about the Library's resources and services. Just click on each tab to learn more about specific resources and services.

Library Hours


The Library is open over 100 hours per week. Below are the typical fall and spring semester hours. Click here to see a complete calendar with all the exceptions to the normal schedule.

Sunday: 2 p.m. to Midnight

Monday-Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to Midnight

Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Saturday: 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The Library Circulation Desk closes 15 minutes before the Library.

During the exam periods, the Library will extend its hours until 2 a.m. The Library will reduce hours during breaks and holidays.

Summer Hours

During the Summer the Library is open until 10 p.m  Sundays through Thursdays.

Friday hours are 7:30 to 5 p.m.

Saturday hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
